Updated now Plex client only Available by local IP

  • Plex Server Running on Synology DS418
  • Stopped Plex Service, Manually updated to Plex Server Version#: 1.19.1.2701-6327e27bf
  • Started Service
  • I can no longer locally reach https://‘MyServerName’.synology.me:32400/web
  • If I go to the local IP address manually https ://192.168.0.39:32400/web/index.html I can see the client (albeit with a ‘Not secure’ warning).
  • Client Version#: 4.22.3
  • Shared Folder shows Plex has R/W permissions
  • Plex user had R/W permissions and R/W Group permissions
  • Cert for my synology.me domain name is the default Cert in Security settings
  • Logs attached

I’ve since stopped and re-started the service and even re-started the Synology. Situation remains unchanged.

Any help appreciatted…

Thanks,

Logs.zip (3.7 MB)

I could somehow access this before the update to Plex but coincidentally my Sky Router had a hissy fit today and now requires port forwarding for me to see the plex server.
So the fact I couldn’t see https://‘MyServerName’.synology.me:32400/web from the Plex link in the Synology homepage is now solved.
However…
I’ve still get unsecured web site warnings - Any advice there?, please?
I can find nothing wring in my config for certificates.
