So I am having an issue where if i am not on the exact latest release version (for my server) then no one can access my media. The side issue to this is that the application is no longer “available” for ASUSTOR NAS (unless you want a seriously outdated app). I can update manually, but, every time? Why is this suddenly required?
I notice my friends are all “offline” to me, and, when discovering that the application version needs to be exact, we found tons of out of date servers in our little cluster.
Why am i doing updates every, maybe, few days? (did one lastnight, and, again today)
Why has Plex been removed from being updated on the ASUSTOR application setup for auto-updates?
Why is it that the version needs to be exact for people to connect? I mean, to the extreme minor version. I can see “requires version 1.xx” not “requires 1.xx.xx.xx.xx.”.
