However, I haven’t tried downgrade add new media add test. I’ll just wait for @elan to find a v1.x solution.

It is working for me. I just added a new album and I get some lyrics. I also retested with the same album you are using and I get some lyrics.
Try entering this into your web page and let me know what the result is. You’ll need your access token, https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204059436-Finding-your-account-token-X-Plex-Token.
http://127.0.0.1:32400/services/lyricfind/search?reqtype=default&searchtype=track&limit=100&output=json&artist=Taylor%20Swift&track=Blank%20Space&[your token here]
If I run that I get Bad Request, however I realized you missed the var name for the token, so I ran http://127.0.0.1:32400/services/lyricfind/search?reqtype=default&searchtype=track&limit=100&output=json&artist=Taylor%20Swift&track=Blank%20Space&X-Plex-Token=MYTOKEN
And it endlessly stalls, with no result in sight.
I just got a response:
{"response":{"code":200,"description":"NOT AUTHORIZED","message":"Only one of \u0027ipaddress\u0027 or \u0027territory\u0027 may be provided."}}
Thanks for catching that omission.
Now, that error message is helpful. I’m not sure what it means, I’ll have to check with a dev, but something definitely doesn’t look right.
Roger, I’ll appreciate if you keep me as much on the loop as you are allowed to.
Cheers
Just heard back. The devs had recently identified a bug in the way Lyrics are retrieved. It doesn’t affect all users, which is why I am not seeing the problem. This fix should be included in a future PMS. Hopefully soon. If you can’t until then, we can look into this issue again if the update doesn’t fix the problem for you.
Awesome, thanks

And when is the next version of PMS due out? I decided to downgrade last night to PMS v0.9.16.6, then I deleted my Music Library (after I tried a new one that updated lyrics almost immediately with LyricFind). I Then created a new Music Library and watched my server lyricfind.log with “tail -f com.plexapp.agents.lyricfind.log” fill up with all the Lyrics that came back with LyricFind.
I’ll hold off PMS 1.x until at least the next version due to this, another issue with PHT not updating watched, and other issues that makes PMS v.1 unstable for my usage. Besides it took 3 weeks after PMS 1.x was released to get this question answered as a “BUG”

1.0 was released on June 23, less than 3 weeks ago. You reported this problem on June 25.

Did you try entering the URL I posted above into your browser when you were running 1.0? If you get the same response as kingmatusevich, then you might have the same bug. If you actually do get a response, you might have a different issue which might not be resolved in the update.
Although I can see which tracks have lyrics, when clicking on the lyrics icon in the web player (or even AppleTV4 for that matter), I receive the following error, Mac OS X, PMS Version 1.0.0.2261.
Web Player - An error occurred loading these lyrics.
AppleTV4 (Plex 1.3, 2241) - We couldn’t retrieve these lyrics. Try again later.

Your server isn’t up-to-date. That said, mine is and it’s not working on my Android phone.

I read a post last night saying that erasing and rebuilding the library worked for someone - and sure enough, it did for me. I don’t have logs for before that though, sorry. Sucks I had to rebuild, but now it works, all that matters. Thankfully I don’t rely on it regularly and didn’t have very important playlists (music is almost useless right now for me because playlist sync doesn’t work on android), would have been unhappy otherwise.
Hi, I don’t want to be annoying, just keeping you posted:
I updated to the latest (new) PMS version, and ran the query again, and got the same results (check the JSON in my previous response).
Anyway, Cheers!
I don’t know exactly with which version it happened but this is officially fixed for me, so you can go ahead and close whatever bug report you have internally. Cheers!
Same issue here. Lyrics only available in plex web. Not in iOS Apps.
Strange: When I cast my Audiostream to Chromecast the lyrics button in plex web app turns grey and won’t work anymore.

Chromecast doesn’t support displaying the lyrics at this point. Which sucks, it would be the perfect karaoke device lol
