Been having an issue with Plex renaming a show in my library from “It’s Sew Easy” to “It’s Not Easy”. I’ve gone as far as to remove the show’s name from the file, and only use the TVDB Id (299930) to help give a hint to Plex. At first, this seems to work, as the name briefly shows up correctly (which means it’s resolving the id to a name properly), but then when it goes to pull the metadata, it changes back to the wrong show.
I can solve this temporarily using the “fix incorrect match” option - but once the last saved episode is deleted, the incorrect match data is forgotten and the next recording goes back to the wrong match.
Any ideas on how to fix this long-term? Really thought I had it sorted out after switching to just pure numeric ids - but it seems to be one step ahead of me
