Where to download an older copy for an Apple MAC?
@StSimm1 Many thanks for the update. Will continue to monitor for the new version. Fingers crossed.
Many thanks for hearing your loyal users! Impatient to be able to perform the updates again, even if on my UE46F7000 TV I do not take advantage of the latest features, I would like to be able to continue to use it with the current features at least
For those who still have the question of how to solve the problem on linux just ādpkg -i plex_older_version.debā (1.19.1.2645 seems to work correctly and fix issue for my own)
Those not having control of the server (seedbox users) can be connect to your TV via an android / iOS application like chromecast can be a workaround immediately
Dude, take a break from the computer. Go outside for a while.
Very annoying but the work around does unfreeze the app. Connect to th TV using the plex app on your phone. Select something to watch and it unfreezes.
I also waiting for the update.
My server runs on a Synology NAS (Synology X64 Plex version) and unfortunately it doesnāt allow the appās downgrade.
For me, it would be a suitable workaround if Plex Team could rewrite the stable package with a higher version number than the newest beta. This way Synology would allow the update (which basically would be a downgrade).
Thanks.
So 1.19.2.2702 killed my Samsung TV. I was able to get it working again by doing the followingā¦
- Stop the plex service
- Navigate to C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Updates or where ever your local application path this. Find the folder for 1.19.2.2702 and drill into it and into the packages folder and run the exe.
- Click the uninstall option which will remove version 1.19.2.2702.
- When the uninstall is done, in the same updates folder find the previous version and click into it and into the packages directory and run the exe.
- Start the Plex Server at the end of the install when asked.
- Delete the folder in the updates folder for the 1.19.2.2702
- In Plex Go to the setting General tab where you normally do check for updates and if you see the update for 1.19.2.2702 then you can click the skip this version.
I am running on Windows 10 and this went very smooth. I have never rolled back a version before was very concerned it would delete all my settings, but everything was there and working fine on my Samsung TV once I did this.
Thank you! This fixed it for me!!!
Hello,
In my case, you could connect to Plex, but then the remote stopped working; you could not navigate within the application. My wife said she had issues after logging into her local account on the Samsung TV, but switched over to my account and that worked for 2 days. Suddenly, last night, we were unable to navigate using any accounts
As soon as I went back one version, the TV worked fine.
So do we know exactly what is happening with this issue?
Anyone tried 1.19.2.2711 yet?
I have, and it works fine for me
Great
I also tested it and i can confirm, that this Update fixxed the issue
. Thanks everyone who helped!

Edit: tested 1.19.2.2711 on CentOS 7⦠thx for the āInputā @finn.nyman
