Version 1.20.1.3252 doesn't save client setup

Right-clicking on the taskbar icon > Open Plex is causing issues:

  1. After entering initial credentials, there’s a login loop where the URL (https://app.plex.tv/auth/#!?clientID=…) doesn’t finish the attempt, reloads, and asks me to click sign-in again.

    This is an existing issue that I’ve had for a few versions.

  2. In the latest version, the client setup config is not saved. At each login (after the loop in #1), I get directed to the http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/client-setup page and have to re-define my defaults.

On another thread a moderator mentioned a workaround to bookmark app.plex.tv and sign in that way,. That’s an ok workaround but does not address the underlying issues I’m seeing.

edit: For devs or moderator, I have an mp4 clip I can share if needed.
