I’m having very strange issues that I didn’t believe I was having at first. For some reason, only one account is unable to access my server. The thing is, it’s my account (the server owner). There’s a handful of other accounts that are able to access it just fine. Even stranger, I have set up a managed user (I’m a lifetime plex pass holder) and even that account can access my server just fine. On any given device I can log in to my primary account, the one that owns the server, and see no media, being instead shown the yellow warning signs. I can then switch users on the exact same account and the media pops right up as if nothing is wrong. Doesn’t matter if it’s remote or local access. Is this a server issue? I can’t think of any setting I could change that would affect this. It’s been like this for many months now and it’s driving me insane. Sometimes a server reboot will fix it (dockerized on a linux host) but it always comes back. I’ve tried skimming server logs but don’t really know what I’m looking for.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

rebuilding the database with the instructions on this support page appears to have helped

Hey @covius, did this actually fixed the issue? I’m facing a similar (if not the same) issue… whenever I log in using my home account my server shows as offline if I switch to a manged account it is just fine… driving me nuts!

So far it does seem to have fixed the issue. I’ve been restarting the server more often than usual recently due to some changes I’ve been making so my confidence isn’t 100%, but I think I would have seen the issue at least once by now if it were still going to happen again. There’s no loss in trying, you’ll have the original database to go back to if it doesn’t work or something goes wrong
