it would be great if we can see (for example) movies that have more than one file version at first sight (like unwatched/unseen) AND to sort or search for “movies” that have more than one file version to clean up. it also would be great to have a date in the file info table, not only every stats, format, filesize, … a date added to the database of plex would be massive so that we are able to delete the older file without leaving plex and searching in the file system.
They used to have an icon for multiple versions but I think that only shows up in some clients now.
As far as finding those, you can use the Duplicates option in the search\filter. That works pretty well:
