Seems you might be defrauding your advertisers. I was visiting a friend and we were watching VoD and was interrupted with commercial breaks. It showed # of 8 ad’s and only a few played. For sure not 8. So maybe there is a bug somewhere and it’s not actually as profitable as it appears?

Thanks for reporting this issue. The amount of ads predicted is an estimate. In some cases less ads are playable for a number of reasons, so the Plex client may skip playback of that ad (rather than something unexpected happening) so you can get back to the content. Is this only an issue you’ve seen on Playstation or elsewhere too?
I only used a playstation client that it was noticed on. Seems odd to estimate the number.
