I’ve recently started using Watch Together with one other user. Everything works okay except it seems only the person who invites others can view subtitles.
Is this normal behaviour? The FAQ is not specific enough about whether all users are supposed to be able to enable subs or not.
I’m using Plex for Windows sharing my files from a PC and the other user is playing via a Roku stick on his TV.
It is, each viewer is getting their own session/directplay/transcode but the transport (play/pause/etc) is shared. The advantage here is each person can turn captions off/on to their liking as well as selecting compatible video/audio formats.
Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear; the other user can’t enable subtitles in our experience so far. That was the point I was trying to make.
Assuming we should both be able to select subs, are there perhaps some global settings I need to change?
