Plex is changing metadata to wrong language

Literally the exact same thing as this post has happened to me. I live in the US. I am 99.9999999999% sure that i chose english when setting up my library…it has been fine for a few years now.
I received a notification that the plex agent has updated and to upgrade my libraries to the new agent…and so i did. When the agent finished refreshing all of the metadata i noticed a lot of my TV shows (no other libraries effected) where coming up with different covers and in the Danish language. After further investigation, I noticed that the main language was set to Danish instead of English. I am very certain that i have set it to english and somehow it was changed. Is there a way to dive into this further. How does the language just change like that? Should i have security concerns?
