WD 32-TB NAS no longer Authorized or Found after 1 year

Greetings,
For over 1 year no issues with running a WD NAS 32-TB PR4100. This is primarily accessed from a Samsung TV via Plex. This evening, I launch the app off the Samsung and received: “you do not have access to this server…” . No changes of any kind were made since last evening.
For reference, The Login for the device locally is http://nas-32TB from any windwos PC and works fine. I have full admin access to the WD 32TB NAS drive
Steps so far below and I may have sent myself backwards in time.
1)likely useless, but I followed the removal of the 3 entries in Windows registry on laptop
2)uninstalled local Windows Server on laptop (never stream any media from this laptop)
3)uninstalled the Plex App on the 32TB drive, got latest update for Feb 4, 2020 from Plex site and reinstalled from scratch Version is: 1.18.6.2368
4)go to Configure off the 32Tb drive itself works fine, log in, however the 32TB does not show as an authorized drive or appear at all
5)the drive does not show in my plex.tv account either
6)logged off and logged in, to no avail on both the device and the web site
7)rebuild DLNA on 32TB
8)Plex.tv account still shows other authorized devices such as Windows PC, Android phone though they are never used as servers
9)uninstall / reinstall app on Samsung TV
10)opened up all firewall rules to use HTTP, HTTPS, SMB, SSH, PLEX, etc to this drive, to no avail. I have blocked this drive over a month ago (LAN to WAN) due to vulnerabilities discovered within the Linux OS on this drive, but that’s another issue and never access the drive outside of the LAN

well, after almost 3 hours, nowhere

My lone objective is to get this NAS 32TB server listed as an “authorized device”.

The NAS 32TB is available via SMB in all Windows devices and shows on the network fine, Plex is the sole issue and can’t seem to authorize or locate the drive

No account changes of any kind were made on any device. This hell storm just came out of nowhere. I suspect my login account for some reason is not able to see this drive. I have only ever had 1 login account at plex.tv

Perhaps I need to pair up all devices again just not sure of the best way to clean house and start over.
Thank you

It looks like you removed every item from here, which is like logging-out these servers: https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms

I don’t know how applicable this guide is for your particular NAS model. If it’s based on Linux, you should be able to follow it.
If it’s based on Android, it is almost impossible

thanks, no I only removed the NAS drive. All other devices are still there, thanks. this is a Western Digital NAS. There may be SSH access to remove those linux lines but that may a)void the warranty and b) I’m not even sure how to get to a command prompt on this drive

This issue has been resolved (PARTIALLY). It turns out Western Digital does support this exact issue. Spoke with Level 2, they had me install Putty within Windows, turn on SSH within the NAS drive, create an SSH password - which must be retained-do not lose) and then run these commands in the WD article here:

https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6428/kw/reset%20plex%20database

What’s not resolved is the ability to Claim Server…uggh. No devices can see the NAS drive. I will begin a new thread
