WD Current Hacking: Is Plex Server still accessible on HomeCloud NAS

Hi,
In view of the current hacking issue at WD all server services have been unaccessible. Yesterday customers have been given tuto to access their datas through direct local network access.
Since a couple of days I noticed that my libraries have disappeared from Plex. My server is gone all together!
Any news on this.
Then, is there any ways to reconnect to my Plex server through direct local network access?
Server is on a HomeCloud NAS OS5. Plex player on a MacBook pro OS 12.6

On my side, I have activated the local access.

Concerning Plex, I don’t have access too. I asked the question on the WD forum but my post has not been posted yet.

I think that until all their services are restored, we won’t have access to plex.

I managed a work around - assuming you have local access on your computer/laptop then add your computer/laptop as a server and then you can add the files you have on your Mycloud via local access. Its pain but it does work - you just need to have the computer running. Mycloud and Western Digital has been a disgrace in this regard. I am actively looking for an alternative NAS storage system after this mess.

I have activated local access too. So, it is back to VLC.
As Davesy1313 I had a similar set-up before and moved to a NAS server set-up to save space on my laptop as with a large library Plex can take an awful lot of space on a small MacBook ssd! So, I don’t fancy going back to that! :roll_eyes:

Now that the cloud service appears to be working again - it looks like Plex needs to be set up again on Mycloud servers - however the link doesnt work. Has anyone had any success directly linking Plex to their Mycloud since the announcement of everything “working” again?

All good for me. Since services came back it works normally.
I have full access to MyCloud online or through the App and Plex working well.
I had nothing to do, fortunately :neutral_face:

I am having the same issue now. Anybody have a fix for this? WD just tells me Plex is a 3rd party app and I have to contact them. But the link does not work, I cannot enable the plex app and therefore can also not configure!
