WD My Cloud Home unavailable in Plex

Same Issues.
Plex is running, i can acces the Plex Gui on my TV, over Webbrowser etc. But i can not Connect to my Media on my WD My Clouf Home. Plex is Running from My Cloud Home, and over the WD App i can acces all software, Films Music etc. Only Plex can not acces the Data.

Then i tried to connect a ne Source, and then Plex suggest me to install Plex Server???

Unfortunately the Plex Media Server software running on the MyCloud Home devices is old. The only way to get around this issue is to disable secure connections. Has to be done both on the server and the client, unfortunately.

For some reason, Western Digital is not updating the PMS software on their devices.

Sounds to be the same issue like my problem…

I’ve got the same setup re PR4100. Staggering lack of support from Plex on this forum. It’s pointless or just indicates they are aware of the issue but not a clue how to fix it

There is no specific known issue with the WD PR4100. The specific issue for this thread is on the WD My Cloud Home device.
