WD My Cloud Home update Broke Plex Access

Plex has worked perfectly for me for a long time. But since the WD My Cloud Home upgrade, I I can’t access my data on WD My Cloud Home using Plex.
I can access the WD My Cloud Home NAS both remotley and locally using My Cloud Home. When I use Plex to access the data It tells me “My Cloud Home is currently unavailable” on the Mac. On the iPhone or iPad it says My Cloud Home is “offline”.
The update seems to have broken the Plex link. I have tried as much as I can’t to no avail.
Can anyone help please?

I have the same problem, hopefully someone can provide a solution.

I was able to get everything back up and running after spending several days working on the problem.

Plex was working fine until the WD My Cloud Home update was pushed to my machine.

After the update I could not access any of my data through Plex, although I could still reach it through My Cloud Home.

I finally was able to access Plex once I went into My Cloud Home/Do More/Enable Plex. After a long time I was able to get into Plex but most of my Posters on the Movies were incorrect. This took a major long time to correct. Several of the Movies now had incorrect metadata as well. The TV Shows did come through correct.

July 4, 2022. The Plex connection with my cloud home was broken. Please update Plex support for my cloud home. Thanks.

I can’t even enable Plex on my my cloud home device. I’ve tried resetting and everything else I can think of. It just won’t enable at all through my cloud home site. I’ve tried contacting wd but all they say is try everything I’ve already done. Any help on this side would be grateful.

Same problem here. No server access after WD upgrade. Tried disable and enbale in ‘Do More’ tab of my Cmoud Home but plex can still not acces the server (on same network, remot, weapp, smatrTV, mobile app). Major nightmare

WD did it again.

This is disappointing, frustrating, annoying, boring and stressful to say the least because I can’t say bad words in here.
