Web Hooks not showing on the QNAP Plex App

QNAP: TS-453Be
Version: 4.3.6.0895 (2019/03/28)

Plex Pass Version: Version 3.57.1

There is no Web Hook Options on the QNAS App, but when I log into Plex Pass via Chrome it shows up. But this won’t help because I need it to show up in the instance from my NAS App.

Please help…

Thank you.

Huh…Please rephrase your question

I have a QNAP NAS system, that has the PLEX APP on it.

When I access PLEX via this app, the option for entering Web Hooks is not available.

When I log into PLEX via Chrome from my local computer, the Web Hooks options appears.

Unfortunately because all my media files resides on the NAS and not the local computer, I need the web hooks option for my NAS.

The initial post included my NAS Model and Version, along with the PLEX Version because people are notorious for responding back asking for this information.

You mean the Plex Media Server?

And if so, accessing it from QNAP QTS, is simply a browser based session as well, so shouldn’t be any different than starting a regular browser, and browse to http://<IP_OF_QNAP:32400/web

Yes the Plex Media Server App
From the app, picture 1.

What Plex Media Server looks like when I run it from this App as you can see NO Web Hooks Option.

When I log into the account from my Local PC with Chrome, there the Web Hooks Are.

The bundled web-client is VERY old!

3.57.1 was released june 2018

Ref: Plex Web

As such, I suspect your PMS version is also old, but sadly you didn’t say what version

And assume, that when using local PC, you access the online version of the Web-Client, found here: https://app.plex.tv/desktop
