We are also seeing this problem via the web interface, it has the correct
metadata for the file, and when it STARTS playing it has the correct endtime at the bottom left hand corner. After a period of time (before it starts playing) it switches to exactly 2:00:00The file is playing at original quality, but even when forcing transcode it has the same problem
I’ve tested on Apple TV, IOS (Iphone and Ipad) public release and the server edition is 1.16.2.1297
I’ve noticed this issue twice over the last week, the latest being just an hour ago. The first was a 3.5 hour long video and the other being 91 mins, both showing as 2 hours even. I closed the 91 min video and opened and resumed it and the correct remaining time displayed.
Let me know what logs you need and I’ll post it however you want. Just tell me what’s needed and how to post them

I have this problem constantly, with all video content on my server. Extremely annoying.
What logs should I post to troubleshoot this?
This is still occurring 5 months after my last post in this thread.
Maybe Plex devs want to keep this as a ‘feature’ where playback fails, just to encourage us to pay for Plex Pass to get more ‘features’
