webOS Missing Text

Have disabled secure connections on server. Can’t see how to change on player with hidden text, unfortunately.

fair point

Wasn’t meant as a dig. Just looking for videos/images of the menus to see if any show how to find that setting.

Any idea how to fix the Problem at the moment or i must wait ?

Thanks for the reports everyone, we’ve tracked this down to a bug that affects webOS 3.0/3.5 devices (though webOS may show slightly different versions in their UI).

We’ve pushed up a fix so text should be showing up again as it should when relaunched (barring any delays due to caching, which should be cleared within the hour).

Also having this issue on an LG Smart TV. Just set up the server a few days ago and it was working fine then. Today, not a bit of text to be found. All content was still playable and all buttons were usable. I tried uninstalling the Plex app on the tv, turned off and unplugged for about 10 minutes, then reinstalled the Plex app and it’s still happening.

edit: The fix brought the text back. Thank you!

w/ the simultaneous response from @markus101 it seems the answer is you have to wait – though it should be a very short wait :crossed_fingers:

while you wait… let’s call this Plex’ Halloween theme :stuck_out_tongue:
