Is anyone else having issues with menus on the plex tv app? The menus won’t load the text associated with them and it’s being very sluggish. I’m using an LG OLED 65C7V so I understand there are very problems but this shouldn’t be caused by that.
I’m experiencing the exact same issue on my LG C7. Just started happening today.
I am having the same problem on my LG TVUH7650.

I’m not sure I understand what you experience. Would you mind to share some more details or a picture of what you see?
It might also be helpful if you can share what version of WebOS and Plex client you have installed on your TV.
I can confirm that currently the lg plex is broken in such a way that i cant see the menu option. The words are missing in basically every menu and option. Weird, cuz this just happend today.
Also dont really understand what the cause of so many errors in the GUI. Plex mobile app and the browser gui on laptop does not have these strange issues. Attached some pics to showcase the corrupted menu’s!
Please fix/update or roll back the LG plex ASAP!

Same problem here.
Everything worked fine yesterday.
Not sure if related, but I installed a new Plex server on Synology recently.
I tried to update my servers to newest release but issue stay the same.
Server Version#:1.24.5.5173 Mac
Player Version#. 5.0.1
No fonts are appearing in the app UI tonight. Worked fine this morning. Have uninstalled/reinstalled app more than once and restarted tv and updated and rebooted mac server app to no avail. Installed XPlay app and fonts appear fine. Weirdly is exactly 2 months since plex installed. Any ideas? Cheers.

I have the same problem. The recent Plex bugs either in the server (as missing artwork at music) or the LG app (flipping animations and now no font) are very annoying.
Please fix them fast and put more effort at testing don’t create feature of fix bugs with causing more bugs!
I have an LG 65UJ630V and i’m experiencing the same issue, i’m guessing it’s because of a recent update. Running webOS 06.00.15.
Same here. Loads of people reporting it so something is screwed up somewhere.

WebOS 3.0 here, also. Not sure what the modern layout is - within Plex? Don’t remember if that was an option I changed.

Have rolled back server 2 versions and it made no difference. Ah well.

Same issue here. LG OLED65B7A / webOS Ver. 3.9.0-62709 / Plex Ver. 5.01
No text on menus or programs. Descriptions of movies and shows missing…
WebOS versions older than 5.0 had been impacted by the dropped support for Plex’ current certificates for secure communication between server and client. Not sure if this might be related – does your issue persist after configuring both client and server to prefer insecure communication?
