What am I paying for...No remote access?

I have been trying for weeks to get Plex back online for remote access. I have followed every post suggestion and still enable for 10 seconds then Not. I am ONLY paying for plex for this feature and it is not working. So the way I see it not only do you owe me a refund, but the cost of watching movies and TV via other services. OR you could acknowledge there is a problem and fix it. Everything was fine until the Update in late Jan…Now plex is useless to me.

If you’d like to troubleshoot your issue, you’ll need to provide some additional details, including:

  • Describe your network (the devices used and their relation to one another, cabling vs. Wi-Fi, etc…). In particular, being in a double-NAT (two routers) configuration can cause remote access issues.
  • How do you have your remote access settings configured in PMS?
  • Are you manually port forwarding in your router, or are you relying on UPnP to automatically configure it?
  • Sometimes remote access works even though the web interface says it’s unavailable. have you checked to see if that’s the case?

You can check to see if your port-forward is configured correctly by checking canyouseeme.org and entering the public IP address/port shown in Settings -> Remote Access in the web client.

You can also roll back to the older version until this issue is fixed. Google reinstall older version of plex and you’ll find lots of how to’s out there.

I was on the latest and faced the same problem. I rolled my server back to 4.22.3 and that did not help, so I went to 4.22.2 then all the way back to 4.20.2 starting to this this is not a sw bug

4.22.3 is not a server version.

1.19.1 is the current pms version.
