What happened ?

The new interface is just horrible and unusable and totally buggy

Example:
Problem Audio > selection language: English by default and any change is possible (except media with only one audio track!) - tested files : format .mkv (h264) + AC3 and/or DTS, etc.

Have you planned a fix in the next hours, days, because my XBOX is my only player.

ok but it doesn’t really give an answer !

What I don’t understand ! before pushing an app on the store! it would be interesting to test and validate the basic functions … in this case I strongly doubt that it was done and I find it a shame.

There is or at least was option to run two application simultaneously for some time.
According to this comment: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1548477/#Comment_1548477 people are alpha testing new app, means beta testing come afterwards and so on. If you believe that, then someone had to test current application as well. Unfortunately for us, things like aesthetics are bing decided byt few people at Plex and there is nothing you can do to change their mind. The like it this way, they do it this way.
I could give you here few examples where I asked for some small change, quality of life improvement, forget it. Requests from two years ago, small aesthetic changes, no response from team.

This version is not tagged beta or alpha on Microsoft store (XBOX1) (i will check again to be sure) and with automatic update, i can’t downgrade to last stable version ! I don’t have a solution to recover a functional state except wait a fix.

The answer about a timeframe is that there is no answer. We have not yet been given one as to when the Xbox app will receive any attention, other than “they’re working on it.”
