I have got a series of a show in my list and its matched correctly automatically but its seems to have matched to a different regions version of the TV show.
The episodes are in a different order and some named completely differently so i’m not even sure how to manually rename them so they align with what Plex shows the order is supposed to be.
Is there a a method that is considered the best way to deal with this?
At the show level, 3 dot menu, fix match.
Normally shows of the same name use the year to disambiguate.
Ie
Showname (year)/season 01/showname (year) - s01e01 - title
there is only one listing of the show in IMDB, only one listing of the show comes up in Fix/Match.
It just has the episodes in a different order and some named differently from the package i downloaded.
The show is also only a single season
Looking closer, IMDB has the same episode names and order as what plex auto detected. so its my download that the inconsistent one
Plex doesn’t use IMDb order it uses tvdb.
I am aware of that… i was just pointing out 2 sources of show details were consistent in showing my downloaded episodes are wrong

At the show level, click on Pencil (instead of 3 dots).
