What is happening to my movies?

Hi,

Im having an issue with video on my plex system.

I copy my blurays using makemkv and store them on my nas as mkv files. I use a mac mini late 2012 quad core 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 as my media server and play movies locally, on my macbook and through an xbox one. Nas and server are connected using 1gB ethernet

Recently, the video has started to freeze on a multicolour-like frame multiple times during action scenes. If i play the same mkv file using VLC i have no issue.

which plex app are you using locally on the mac? the web app in browser or PMP or PHT ? for xbox i am guessing it is transcoding. can you provide server logs and media xml for playback attempt of a file

Using media server v0.9.16.3. This log and the sample video are using media server on my macbook as the player. Its the same result on xbox and on the local player on my mac mini. Thank you

I didn’t know there was a plex media player app which I have since downloaded onto my Mac mini and MacBook, both play without issues. Thank you
