What smart TVs support Plex?

I am in the market for a new TV and wanted to know if there was a list somewhere of what "smart" TVs support Plex (not just from a DLNA point of view, but have a dedicated Plex app)?

Thanks in advance!

Samsung

Is Samsung the only one at this point?

LG and Samsung afaik.

LG and Samsung afaik.

LG abandoned their support of their client long ago (LG wrote it, not Plex)

The app on Samsung is fairly basic (no fancy things like trakt integration or subtitles downloading), but it does the job and overall it works great. I’ve mostly switched to using a custom HTPC with MediaPortal, but Plex is still unbeatable when it comes to cross-platform support (TV, NAS, mobile devices).

There's not 1 Plex app that does this, because it's the Plex Media Server that does this.

Right, although then you could say the NAS edition of PMS is rather basic (or at least I haven’t figured out how to add things like trakt.tv to it).

And in any case, I stand by the statement that the TV app is rather basic. It has limited layouts compared to a client running on Windows, and probably lacks some other things I havn’t paid attention to.

So, maybe the best thing to do is instead of running Plex on the TV as an App, instead run Plex on a tablet/phone/computer and display on TV vie DLNA?
