Server Version#:1.24.5.5173
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and logging out and then back in.
I can manually launch, close and relaunch the server and see its icon on my start bar.
It’s very strange.
Can anyone advise me on how to get this working?

Is it possible that you did not install Plex Media Server, but only “Plex” which is only a Plex client?
It’s definitely the server running. If I hover my mouse over the icon it says “Plex Media Server”
Edit: I thought maybe it could be because I use Brave browser. But I tried changing my default browser back to Chrome and restarting my machine but its the same problem.
It’s like the server and the client aren’t connected. But if I launch the client from the server it takes me to web client and am all logged in.
I read on a trouble shooting guide to log out of the server but I can’t see how to do that?
These are the only options I have.
“Open Plex” opens the client in my browser.
Don’t use Brave for Plex.
Only use one login name/email to login to Plex.
Disable VPN software.
Disable any DNS- or other type of internet filter you may have either on your computer or your router or anywhere else in your network.
