Every time when performing a forward search, I lose sync subtitle.

Loosing sync is a known issue - see Official new subtitle renderer feedback thread , somewhere on the later pages.
So far however I haven't heard a real confirmation that it happens with "aTV natively played" files as well...
My guess: The Plex Transcoding process somehow messes up the timing?!
I managed to solve my problem here!
How this ATV was not with my daughter I looked for a solution before ...
What I realized is that when I leave for the automatic ATV rederizar he ends up getting lost when going forward or backward, but when I leave the PMS render this problem does not happen anymore!
Now I'm using the ATV and I am very happy, even at fanart.

What is the format of your subtitle?
I recommend SSA subtitles (*.ass).
SAMI subtitles and SSA subtitles don't have sync issue.
SAMI subtitles (*.smi) have performance issues with very high bit rate movies.
You could set subtitle location, size, margin and shadows personally with SSA subtitle.

...because those have to be burned into the video by PMS.
Change the subtitle format now will not matter to me because either way the plex that will work with SSA or SRT caption.
Make much difference if I could change the color of the subtitle (yellow) for example!
