Player Version#:

where can I find a link to the latest change log ?

I still do not see on specifically for Synology Plex Server ? do you see it ?

thanks

Were you looking for something specific? The releases apply to all platforms.

The up to date announcement is below it.

I can provide detailed information on Debian packaging changes.
Synology packaging has had no changes for some time but a small documentation change is coming in a future release.

I just wanted to see if any improvements have been made on the player for movies . I’m not sure how the system works, as far as a movie being played on the plex client inside the Tivo boxes for example. I also do not know if the same player is used on all the different clients like Roku versus Tivo versus my 2 Vizio tv’s .

Thank you so much for you time.

Plex is a Client-Server architecture.

As such, all the players are distinct.
The “Plex Media Server” release announcements are just for matters relating directly to the server and its operation.

To find out what’s new for any individual player (Tivo, Roku, Apple TV, etc),
you can quickly filter them by tag or start at the top and drill down in

thank you Chuck I bookmarked that link you sent.
