According to this thread there’s already a feature but no one says where it is? How can I start a scan of library manually from iPad Plex app?
Is this feature on all clients now?
Tap the ellipsis icon (three dots directly to the right of the search icon in the top-right of the screen) and select “Scan Library Files” while viewing the library you want to scan.
If you’d just like to refresh the view of the library on the iPad (have it show items recently scanned on the server), just drag the screen down and release it (while at the top-most items in the library).
