Where's the metadata coming from? Problem adding a show properly

So I’ve been trying to add a show to my Plex server for my kid, and I just can’t understand why a show is split in several series inside Plex, because it’s one single show on thetvdb and also on watch.plex.com, but for some reason the second and third season isn’t a part of the series when matched through Plex.

Its’ added like this:

But only the first season gets episode names.
Season two (and three) looks like this:

When I look inside “fix match” I find a second series that seems to contain the second season:

So where is this split of the series coming from? :slight_smile:

Plex uses TheMovieDB.org as default, where this show is listed as 2 separate shows containing 1 season each.
In order to use TheTVDB.com you need to either define it as default for the whole library, or set it for this specific show.
Set the “Episode Ordering” on the “Advanced” tab, in the properties of either the library or the show.

Ah, it was something obvious as that. I completely forgot that was a thing. I changed it and it matched properly. Thanks! :slight_smile:
