Interesting. I wonder if this is a deliberate change or an omission. If I Optimize... an individual item, I can choose In folders with original items, or from the various Folders in the Library. Thanks for the reply @Volts . That workaround is indeed what I have been doing. I use this server strictly for optimizing content, so things are in and out frequently. It is annoying that I would need to do that each time I want to optimize content. Hopefully this option can come back in the future.

Same issue for me: Can't choose Library folder paths to store optimized versions. This definitely appears to be a bug/regression. Would be good if a Plex dev could acknowledge.
