Looks like a new Plex version 1.12.2.4929 was just released. One of the fixes mentions shows disappearing from the program guide. I wonder if it’s possible this fix addresses the issue.
That was to do with errors during recording eg running out of diskspace or permissions not right for the grab directory
It would be best to upgrade to 1.12.3 anyway as there has also been improvements in how the EPG is refreshed and the volume of requests reduced thus avoiding any potential rate limiting errors
Plex on Debian, and our EPG has been only half there. We’ve been noticing some strangeness as well around tuning in to 10 minutes late for a 30 minute show that’s recording, and it prompts us if we want to start from the beginning (“37 minutes”).
There also have been many occasions where tuning in to a channel and all it displays is a frozen image. This I am thinking was unrelated and likely an issue with 2 users tuning in to a recording and watching them out of sync from each other (IE: me watching from beginning on DVR, the other watching live), but I haven’t begun to test that hypothesis.
I just upgraded to latest this evening, so I’ll be on the lookout for different behavior.

I was referring to the fix below.
(DVR) Shows shouldn’t disappear from the Program Guide for shared users if they’re not shared certain library types (#8100)

sorry - I thought you were referring to this
DVR) Recordings that fail due to permissions issues shouldn’t disappear from the schedule after a server restart (#8020)
The hotfix release for the bug giving rise to lost airings and recordings between 00:00 and 01:00 GMT on the day the EPG is refreshed is now available as beta release 1.12.3.4973-215c28d86
See Release Note
(DVR) Keep airings in US primetime from disappearing from the schedule on each refresh (#8448)

Would like to mention here an EPG related hotfix

Thanks sa2000! I’ve installed the hotfix. Roseanne is scheduled to record on Tuesday @ 8pm EDT. I’ll report back after the airing to let everyone know how it goes.
I can confirm that the fix worked. After installing the update, Roseanne recorded as scheduled for the first time. Thanks Plex Team for knocking this out quickly!
I have this issue now that I just updated to 1.18.3.2111 on a CentOS 7 server. I’ve manually updated and the shows are not being found. Can a Plex team member please look into this, sa2000
