Why does my server become "unclaimed" routinely?

Every month or so for the past 6 months, my Plex server becomes disassociated with my Plex account and goes “unclaimed.” I then have to log into the server and link it to my account again. Anyone else having this occur or have a solution?

Thanks for replying. I just realized that I disabled the job that regularly restarted the NAS so it must not be that. And I do not log out of the server manually - I actually rarely access the PLEX server through the NAS except to go back and claim the server (I am never able to claim it unless I launch from the NAS).

I have a Synology DS415+ running DSM 6.0.2-8451 Update 2. It is connected to a router (ASUS AC3200) that extends the same network as the Verizon FIOS device. I use the PLEX app on a Samsung TV within the same network and occasionally one or two that connect externally. I also use the PLEX app on iPhones and iPads occasionally. I have not found a direct link between using a certain device and having the server disassociated with my account though. I’m almost always on the latest version of DSM and Plex Media Server. Right now I’m on PMS Version 1.1.4.2757. I’ve had this problem through several previous version of PMS.

I have not sifted through the PLEX logs because I wouldn’t even know where to begin with them, honestly.

Would regularly restarting my NAS help?

Thank you. And I apologize for the lag in replying - I thought this would email me a notification if someone replied to my post.

This seems to have resolved itself with the latest updates.
