Compare the metadata agent that was used to match the movie.
Watchlist only works with “Plex Movie”, and with "adult content disabled in the Advanced properties of the library.
If this was changed after the movie was added to this library, then the individual movie could be still matched to whatever agent was set before.
Take a look at the plex media info XML of the affected movie(s). What appears as content of the guid="... XML property? (guid all lower case!)
So, doing a full Refresh All Metadata as mentioned in this other post solved the issue

This matches my suspicion from above. Refresh Metadata did execute the change to the new agent. I recommend doing this overnight for the library as a whole.
