Last Monday was an episode of America’s Got Talent. I have my server set up to record all new episodes but that one didn’t record because the drive it was assigned to was offline (RAID array is having trouble so the drives disappeared). Looking at the upcoming episodes I see that the episode is showing again this Saturday. Looking at the recordings list I see that the server is not planning to record the episode.
If a recording fails is it expected that the server will not automatically schedule to record that episode later if the recording is set for new episodes only?
When I select that episode on Saturday and click on record it give me the option to modify the “new episodes only” recording, it doesn’t seem to have the option for me to tell it I just want to add a specific recording of this one episode without changing the existing recording settings. Is it possible to tell Plex to record a specific past episode when you have a “new episodes only” recording set up?
