Win10 - Plex crashes immediately on launch

Plex crashes immediately on server application launch. No error shows up in Windows Event Viewer or in Plex Crash Reports, but entries are written to Plex Logs.

Here is what happens right before the crash:

So far I have tried:
Multiple repair installations
Renaming e:\PlexData to e:\PlexData.old
Uninstalling and reinstalling Plex Media Server

None of these have helped.

Anyways, see the following post about the usual causes of Plex not starting or crashing immediately. My guess would be the Windows update or a non-existing application data location.
