Hi, very new to the Plex community, So far not impressed with the Live TV . I have Win 10 server using Hauppage Dual HD Tuner. Previous to last version was getting sporadic Playback Error when loading a TV channel. Have upgraded to latest version and now cannot load any channel, keep getting Unable to Tune error. none of my recordings have worked. o not understand how you can charge for this service.
I am sorry for this regression in 1.14.0 - I have referred the issue to the development team
A 10 second timeout slipped into 1.14.0 and some tuners are just too slow to start
further to my earlier response. Whilst there was evidence of excessive time to tune - there were failures due to the regression that slipped into 1.14.0.5465 which introduced a 10 second timeout. This has been referred to the development team
Plex Media Server 1.14.1.5487 has just been released as Beta. It has a fix for the issue of Channel tuning failures due to a 10 second timeout triggering when tuners take longer

(We are aware that even with this fix there may still be timeouts on some USB or PCIe tuners - Please ensure firmware updated to latest available. There is a need to establish if this issue of tuning needing more than 15 seconds to start is widespread - so please provide logs for any continuing tuning errors after updating to 1.14.1.5487)

However, as general use, I invested in a HDHomeRun Quattro and this has been working well now for a couple of weeks – even on my ancient hardware. Therefore, the hardware is still quite capable enough IF the tuning issue on USB and PCI can be resolved.
Let me know any test requirements.
