Even tried firefox with no luck
Iām pretty sure something is wrong on the Plex side, as Iām suddenly unable to sign in to my account. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly.
@ChuckPa, are the Plex servers having trouble right now?
Not having any issues myself, but I was just wondering if something is going on as Iām see numerous posts.
Plex status did show a slight dip earlier.

Unfortunately itās still down. Still having issues.
Ok. Now seems to be working again.
My network/secure connection was set to PREFERRED. I changed that to DISABLE and I was able to access via Chrome now and my phone. and my TV. It is working now for the moment
Iāve been unable to actually use my plex servers for quite some time. I switched from virtual machine to bare metal, I tried another bare metal server. Permissions and install are all good. Iāll stream video one moment and then have access/authentication errors the next. Then the servers would slowly all drop off the network one by one.
I have to say plex should make these servers a bit more resilient. If we are hosting our own servers there should be no losing access on our own lans.
-
right click plex media server and hit āopen plugins folderā
now delete the whole plex folder not just the plugins folder -
uninstall plex
-
Delete the reg entry.
for windows: hold Windows key+R
Search forā¦Its āuserā keys or something like thatā¦user being the key word. Then search for the āsoftwareā folder. In that folder, you will find a plex folder. Delete that.
reinstall plex server
