When it crashes, is the Plex icon still in the system tray? Does Plex still appear to be “running” in Task Manager, but when you try to access it either via the web interface or by trying to stream on a client you get no response from the server? If your symptoms are similar to what I described, it could be what is called a “deadlock”. Several people (myself included) are having these deadlocks. If you suspect a deadlock, I encourage you to read through the most recent posts on that thread and try to get additional diagnostics to help isolate the problem. Server logs alone aren’t enough to diagnose a deadlock, but the additional steps needed aren’t hard at all to perform. If you need assistance with any of the steps, feel free to PM me. Once you get all of the required diagnostics, you can send them to the team member in the thread that I linked above.
If your crashing actually involves the Plex program disappearing from the system tray and Task Manager, the above post will not apply to you.
