The same HDHomerun Connect Duo was once working with a previous installation of Plex. I had to replace the Boot drive and reinstall Plex and copy my db over and now it no longer discovers the HDHomerun device. The Windows HDHome run app DOES discover it and I am able to watch TV with that app but Plex will not let me set up a DVR with that device. In the attached logs it does seem to see both tuners on it but it just keeps on a spinner when I click set up Plex DVR and says “We couldn’t find any hardware we recognize, but will continue to look for available devices.” and adding the ip address manually has no effect. In the log it says: C:\Program Files\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Tuner\Private\devices\dvb\file\drv_file.ini does not exist . How can I fix this missing ini problem???

Nope. Basically I think the original installation on my previous HD was corrupted because I copied all the plex data dirs over the new installation. Basically it resulted in some type of corruption in the database such that it thought I had the HD HR installed but there was no facility to remove it and recreate the DVR. I ended up installing the HD HR on a different PC on my network and logging in with the same account. I backed up tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud.xxxxx from C:\Users\USER name\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases directory and copied the same files over from the PC where it was set up correctly and I think I did the same for the tv.plex.xxx files are in the C:\Users\USER name\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Data directory too. Anyway I removed the HDHR from the other machine and tried to add the device on the PC in question but that didn’t fix it . However, when I replaced the files above with the ones I backed up it started working. Now I was able to delete and readd the DVR. Not really sure why this worked but it fixed it.
