Would like some help with troubleshooting remote access

Hi.

I’m one click away from a brain haemorrhage. I bought a linksys router.

1.My ISP router was set to bridge mode and the linksys connects through PPPOE.

  1. My WAN IP and my public IP are the same

2b.There is no double NAT, i checked it through traceroute.

  1. On the server i set a static Private IP address.

  2. On the linksys router i opened port for plex.

The port is closed and i cannot access it remotely.

I have one more idea which is to open the same port for the linksys (default gateway) IP on the ISP’s router.

If the ISP router is set to bridge mode, you shouldn’t be able to do this. If you can, then it’s not in bridge mode.

Can you provide screenshots for 3 and 4?
