the channels play fine on wintv app on pc but when I try to play channel 5.1(KTLA) it plays channel 2.3(DABL) I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both tuners. but it does not work. please help. other channels seem to work fine.
I would think the uninstall and reinstall would address these suggestions, but it is the first place to start:
In Plex Web take a look at Settings -> Live TV & DVR and then under your tuner name click on the link “XX enabled”, where XX is the number of channels you set to be available. The “Manage Channels” popup will open. On that screen verify that the channel mapping is correct. If you have channel 2.3 under “Device Channels” mapped to 5.1 under “Guide Channels” then Plex would exhibit this behavior.
If that isn’t the problem then try clicking the “Scan Channels” button on the “Manage Channels” popup. From what I can see KTLA (5.x) and KCBS (2.x) did their repacking over a year ago, so I don’t think this is the problem…
