I get a channel 13.1 OTA in my area. HDHomeRun shows the correct guide/channel info.
When I set up my DVR in Plex, the channel mapping correctly shows “13.1 Independent” but when the guide refreshes, it is pulling data from 13.1 ABC Rochester – which I do not get.
The channel mapping shows only 13.1 Independent – it does not show the 13.1 ABC; however, it does show its 13.2/3 affiliate stations.
Is there anyway to correct this?
You may have to delete the DVR and re-add it, then choose a different zip code that is closer to the "host’ city during the setup. Try and force it to load guides from the proper region.
I’m just guessing though. It could be a Gracenote problem or something.
I have, unfortunately, tried that several times with different postal codes. I can never find a zip code that includes all the channels I get except one (Toronto)…however, it gets two different 13.1 channels.
Plex should be showing me two different 13.1 options to pick, and use the guide based on my selection.
Latest update to plex server has fixed the issue. It now pulls the correctly mapped channel info.
