I just downloaded the latest 3 unwatched Doctor Who episodes on my mobile phone. I expected it to be S02E01, S02E02 and S02E03 but instead I recieved S00E04, S02E01 and S02E02
Epsiode S00E04 I would expect only after i finished with S02E13
Check the “originally available date” for S00E04. What does it show?

All the episodes for Season 2 are aired before S00E04. This also matches TheTVDB.
Yes on the web version it works fine for me as well. I’m actually just talking about the Download Option where I selected to download the next 3 unwatched episodes. Here the order is just being ignored.
Oh sorry, I didn’t get it was for Downloads. Let me check that.

It seems like specials are always downloaded first. I just added more specials and now it downloads only the next specials even though they are aired at a later time.
