Wrong Metadata When adding a completely new TV Show

Server Version#: 4.69.1
Hello guys i have a terrible problem with my Windows Plex Media Server: If i add new TV show in Plex, It automatically associate with Zero One-Once in Adana that i don’t have in my library at all.
I have tried almost everything: renaming folders; unistalling Plex; installing new agents; switching agents or scanner; using plex packet cleaner.

My Library is disposed like that: \Saekano\Stagione 1\ (01 - 02 - 03 - … )–>episodes named with only numbers

The only “solution” that i have found is to install an old version of Plex Media Server and scan my whole library.
i upload a couple of images and my log file to help you a little.

Naming season folders in a language other than English seems to be causing this issue.

It is suggested in our support document to use the English word “Season” but I would expect us to handle this better - I’ll ask about this with the cloud team.

Just fixing your filenames will probably also yield much more accurate results (see previously linked support article).

For example, your filename is named E:\anime\Saekano\Stagione 2\01.mp4

Even just making the filename S02E01.mp4 would help here, but please see the support article for the suggested naming.

So i need to write Season 1 and not Stagione 1 (italian) for example; Or i need to configure every single episode like this: S02E01?
Renaming every single episode will waste days of my time, so for me isn’t a possible option.
I think the older version of Plex was more smart; and if there isn’t a real solution i will go on with my own method (scanning the whole library with the older version and then update)

In any case i don’t think this is the problem here; Cause the name of the folder is correct and plex somehow change it to anotherone, i will test your method, but i don’t have much hope.
Thank you in any case for the reply =)

Plex DocumentationYour MediaNaming & Organizing Your TV Show Files

To quote the support article:

“Be sure to use the English word “Season” when creating season directories, even if your content is in another language.”

“The most important bit in the file name is the appropriate season and episode number notation s02e17 which in this example means Season 2 Episode 17 It does not matter if you use dashes, dots or just spaces.”

Look at Microsoft PowerToys, specifically PowerRename.

It is quite easy to rename an entire directory of files or folders.

Example: Change Stagione to Season 0 (note the space after Stagione).
