Playback stopped twice on my XBOX One with a generic error message. I get the option to Retry or Exit. I attempted to retry once, and it played again for a few minutes before giving me another generic error message.
Back on the server, looking in the logs, I see the following error:
Jan 23, 2015 19:17:34:850 [6408] ERROR - Error writing media: 10054 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Log is attached. I also see this error with some earlier tests that I ran, but they never force-closed on the XBOX. So maybe this error number is not relevant.
What other information can I provide that would be useful? Any ideas what steps I can try?
Not just twice - every few minutes - i tried for a whole hour to watch my program and just gave up in the end.
Log entrys:

As you can see this is every second - and in some cases milliseconds!!
This might be me hitting the retry button in quick succession in anger and frustration before shouting a series of swear words and turning the damn thing off.
The Xbox says there is a network error - i don't believe this to be my hardware at all as nothing else fails with a network error.
If anyone from the Development team want a copy of the entire log, i have one saved - message me.
Bump. This is happening constantly in the last week or so. Having to use Plex on my Xbox One through basic DLNA / Media Player now because I can't watch anything using the Plex app.
I've been experiencing the exact same error consistently over the last 2 weeks. My wife is starting to get angry with me because she hates having to keep pressing retry for the kids to watch their shows.
Please fix this. Or please stop delaying the update necessary to enable logging on the XB1.
I'm willing to help in anyway possible. I have a background in programming so I know my way around debugging issues. I can not find anything related to my home network\server setup that could be causing this. I've scoured every plex log line by line and the only error i see is the 10054 error so posting the log here will not help anyone.
I usually don't post things if they have already been put out there, but I feel kinda disappointed with the client on XB1. It feels like a rushed and unfinished product that is now neglected. I understand that there are strict boundaries you are confined to with the XB1 apps and I hope that most of it will be resolved when the xbox start running the Windows 10 core and the new universal "Windows Apps" are allowed. I also understand the investment costs made by Plex to be able to publish this app on Xbox Live. I guess I was expecting this app to be constantly updated every few weeks and refined like the apps on other platforms. Since this app was released in October its received 2 extremely minor updates!
Thats horrible.
Sorry for ranting but it just frustrates me to see this happen. I use this software every single day and its hard to hear that you don't know what's causing this and that we will enable logging in a "future update". Push out and update now to enable logging. Because this future update will mean that we will have to wait months after that one to actually get this issue resolved now.
Current Environment:

Just about every device OS you could imagine. (I have a strange addiction to technology)
I'm experiencing the exact same issue with Plex for my XBOX one as well. I must say up until recently it's worked flawlessly. I'll have to cancel my Plexpass until this one is resolved as it's useless now. I purchased the monthly plexpass to specifically use the Xbox one client. I was content with missing features etc, but now it's literally unusable. Well, not for more than 5 minutes at a time. I'll keep checking back to see if it's ever resolved.
