Cant access friends shared media on Xbox but can on phone and laptop

So I access two friends media. One of them has all of a sudden ceased allowing access on Xbox only. So I can still access it on my phone and laptop but cannot through the Xbox. This has been working fine previously though.

Shows an error saying-
‘Friends share name’ is currently unavailable
Please verify that the server is running and has a network connection.

I’m having the same issue. Xbox One and Samsung app.

sounds like a problem with secure connections, ask what his server is sat to.

Mine is:
Secure connections
Preferred
When set to “Required”, some unencrypted connections (originating from the Media Server computer) will still be allowed and apps that don’t support secure connections will not be able to connect at all.

many with same problem, should be preferred or disabled not Required.
