Xbox One App Connects, One Library works correctly, the other tells me server is offline

As the title suggests, I can connect to the server with my xbox one. I have 2 libraries. One works great, the other errors out with “server not available”. I can go back home after receiving this error and go to the other library and it still works great.

My laptop using the plex web app works fine, my ipad app works fine, the Plex Home Theater app on the server itself works fine. Only the XB1 app has issues and it is happening on 2 separate XB1 consoles.

I have tried with remote access enabled/disabled, changed security settings in XB1 app to Allow/On my network/not allowed. None of these settings made any difference.

This started today as it was working yesterday while the library was being refreshed after the initial server setup.

Any suggestions?

I found the problem. After a reboot and more troubleshooting settings, I found the option for “Optimize Database” under the settings cog on the home page by the server name. Since I created the database, it had not been “optimized” and was not running efficiently.

I hope this helps anyone else having weird XB1 connectivity issues.
