It means that (most) movies won’t be displayed at their normal frame rate of 24 hz, so they will appear jittery.

This is not a real solution - just a workaround with serious trade-offs.

Thanks guys. Disabling “Display Mode Switching” on Plex settings worked for me on my XBox One S.

Dude this worked for me. It’s kinda of annoying. I hope plex or Xbox can resolve this issue quickly.

Display Mode Switching didn’t fix it for me on the XBox One X. I had to change my color depth from 36 bits per pixel to 24 bits per pixel. Audio came back after that.

Why were you using 36 bits?

I assumed it was supported by my display and other than the Plex app there were no issues with that setting.

Same here.

After switching to 30 bits, audio is now working in Plex with display mode switching enabled.

going to standby worked for me too. although if i change videos i have to do it again.
