For some reason, when I try to use Plex on my Xbox One, it just spins on the Plex screen. I've been using this perfectly for a couple of weeks, but now all of a sudden I cannot get it to work at all. No messages appear, nothing. I've tried quitting and uninstalling. I've even restarted the server itself. Has anyone else seen this and know what I need to do to fix it?
If it just started happening this afternoon, It's likely due to the plex main site (and plexpass auth) being down for maintenance. Here's another thread on it. The short anwser is that since the xbox one app requires a plex pass subscription to be used, it needs to verify that on startup with the plex servers. Since the plex servers cannot currently be reached, the app will fail to start.
same here.. i think has something to do with the site been down.. as it does authentication
Mine is still spinning though they are saying the site is back.
