Mine was doing this too, try manually selecting your server on the top right of the screen. I’m running 2 servers and I was getting the error message since they weren’t both updated

I did install the Latest 9.10.3 when I log into my Netgear to install the App it does show it is running 0.9.10.3 ..
When I log into your Plex Web it shows 0.9.9.12. 504-3e7f93c so I am confused why on your side it shows 0.9.9.12. 504-3e7f93c and on my Nas Server it says 9.10.3 ??

Hi Carlos (by the way, my name doesn't start with an L ;) ),
It sounds like the client has incorrectly cached your server version. As I mentioned earlier, have you tried "QUIT"ing the application (from the context menu) and then restarting?

Yes, there are TWO versions of Plex. If you did not specifically go to the plex-pass download and install that then you are not running the right version apparently.

I was having this exact issue. Quitting the Xbox One app didn't do it - a restart of the console did, though. Worked immediately after that.
It would be awesome if Plex Pass users had the ability to opt-in to downloading Plex Pass-only releases when choosing 'check for updates'. It would've probably avoided this issue for most of the people on this thread.
I'm sorry it's not working... Can you please try "Quit"ing the application (via the context menu from the home screen) and try again? It sounds like it's not being refreshed after you upgraded your server.

did that and still its not working. and the web app wont find the server too. the side bar keeps saying no server downloaded click here to install. ive tried uninstalling and repairing about 10 times now and still nothing.

I was able to get mine resolved I had to go back to the Plex Web log into my profile and delete the old Server I setup a while ago now it works.
Except I am now getting a message ( An Error occurred while attempting play this video ) all my videos are mkv files ??

Does anyone know why the Qnap Version 0.9.10.3 (ARM) comes up as a download for 0.9.10.1 (see pic - http://oi60.tinypic.com/312vb5x.jpg) rather than the actual download for 0.9.10.3. Since my X1 APP will only work with 0.9.10.3, I need to make sure my Media Server is updated ASAP.
I'm a plex pass owner and I've clicked the Plex Pass download link to get to this point so I know that's not the issue, it just looks like the wrong packaging got added to the ARM part for QNAP users.
Can anyone help fix this on the Plex side or provide any backup as to why this is showing up.

I'm having the same problem. communication error when trying to connect with xbox360. im running mac xserve with lion the latest plex server app.
